Product Overview

HLD-GC 100 Marine Gyrocompass is a digital product newly designed by Highlander in cooperation with CSIC 455 Factory, based on over a decade of practical shipboard experience with previous models, and in full compliance with the latest IMO regulations. It is the first domestic gyrocompass that meets the international standard ISO 8728-1997 and has obtained the CCS type approval certificate.

The HLD-GC 100 Gyrocompass System fully complies with the IEC 60945 general standard and the ISO 8728-1997 special standard.
Fully digital design

Adopting digital servo control, the heading accuracy reaches ±0.25° × secΦ. All input/output interfaces comply with the IEC 61162-1 standard. Latitude and speed errors are automatically compensated.
Short settling time

Equipped with an inertial navigation device combination, the master gyrocompass automatically presets its initial start-up position to the local magnetic north upon power-on, significantly reducing the settling time. The static settling time is less than 2.5 hours.
High dynamic accuracy
High dynamic accuracy
Adopting a unique vibration-damping design and dynamic roll/pitch compensation technology, the dynamic performance of the gyrocompass system is enhanced, with a dynamic accuracy error of no more than ±1° × secΦ.

Adopting a modular design, various components can be flexibly combined. The application types are divided into: Compact, Standard, and Redundant.

Easy installation and maintenance
The master gyrocompass features a compact size (380×310×452 mm) and light weight (24 kg). Installation baseline deviations can be corrected via software, reducing installation requirements. No annual onboard inspection is needed; only the gyrosphere needs to be replaced before the master gyrocompass reaches its service life.
