China Telecom Guangdong Visits Highlander to Discuss Offshore Wind Computing Collaboration

On the afternoon of July 17, Zhang Tao, Party Secretary and General Manager of China Telecom Guangdong Branch, along with Hu Zhiliang, General Manager of Shenzhen Telecom, visited Highlander for research and discussions. Highlander Group founder Shen Wanqiu, Highlander Cloud General Manager Su Yang, and the core team warmly received the delegation. The two sides held talks on deepening cooperation for the offshore wind direct-connected data center project.

During the symposium, Highlander Cloud General Manager Su Yang first introduced the company's overall development strategy and technology system, with a focused briefing on the planning layout and progress of the Guangdong wind power direct-connected data center project. The Guangdong Telecom side then presented the layout of Guangdong's computing power network construction and telecom business development, sharing their resource advantages and on-the-ground experience in eastern Guangdong.

The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the integrated development of offshore wind and computing infrastructure, regional computing network coordination, and joint industrial ecosystem building. They fully exchanged views on the implementation pathways for the Guangdong project and innovative cooperation models, reaching consensus on multiple points.

This exchange further enhanced mutual trust and laid a solid foundation for deepening strategic cooperation going forward. As the next step, the two sides will form a joint team to focus on pilot implementation of the Guangdong project, jointly exploring a new model of "green power + computing" integrated development, contributing to the high-quality development of the digital economy and green low-carbon transformation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
