Marine Equipment Face-to-Face | Highlander: Staying Committed to In-House R&D, Building Stronger Domestic Intelligent Navigation Equipment

The 4th Fujian International Marine Equipment Expo 2026 was held in Fuzhou, Fujian, from October 16 to 19. At this year's expo, China Ship News launched the Marine Equipment Face-to-Face program to observe the industry and gather cutting-edge insights. In this episode, Marine Equipment Face-to-Face talks with Li Changwei, Chief Technical Engineer of the Highlander Group.

Focusing on its two main lines — intelligent navigation and smart ocean — Highlander presented domestic achievements including the HLD-RADAR 900S solid-state radar and the NavMind autonomous navigation system. Li Changwei shared the company's technological breakthroughs in ship perception and autonomous navigation, as well as its plans to iterate on solid-state radar, upgrade NavMind, and advance ship-sea integration.
